Pinakas
Pinakas is the painting app from PK Gallery. Chroma, your AI painting coach, turns a work from PK Gallery or a photo of your own into a step-by-step guide – with every colour mix, all the materials you need and tips for each step.
What the app does
- Templates based on originals by Pegah Koch – or your own photo, previewed in the painting style you choose (realism, impressionism, expressionism, pop art, sketch, minimal).
- A mixing recipe for every colour in the guide and a colour mixer that mixes any shade from the paints in your paint box – even straight from a photo.
- A list of all materials: what you already have is ticked off, the rest goes on your shopping list.
- In painting mode, Chroma reads each step aloud and reminds you of drying times.
- With Pinakas Plus: every template from PK Gallery, 20 of your own photos per month, a check of your progress after each step and answers from Chroma to your questions. Selected templates and one photo of your own per month are free.
Chroma is an artificial intelligence. Guides, mixing recipes and answers can contain mistakes. The app is available in English and German for iPhone and Android.

Restoring purchases
Open your profile and tap “Restore purchases”. You’ll find the same option on the Pinakas Plus page.
Cancelling your subscription
On iPhone in your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions), on Android in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. In the app, “Manage subscriptions” in your profile takes you there. Deleting the app or your account does not end a subscription.
Moving to a new device
In your profile under “Use on all devices”, sign in with Apple or Google, then do the same on the new device. Your paintings, paint box and lists will be there too. To switch between iPhone and Android, use “Sign in with Google”. Without signing in, the account stays on this device only.
A better reading voice on iPhone
Chroma reads with the best voice installed on your device. If it sounds robotic, download a better one for free: Settings › Accessibility › Spoken Content › Voices › English › pick a voice › download “Premium” or “Enhanced”.
Reporting AI content
If a guide, a check or an answer from Chroma is wrong, offensive or unsafe, tap “Report” next to it. We review every report.
Deleting your account
In your profile under “Delete account and all data”. Everything else, including deletion without the app: Delete your account.
